12-Month Warranty Coverage (NerdOCTaxe)

Warranty

All our products are covered under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) consumer guarantees.

Our manufacturer offers a 6-month warranty against defects and/or failures.  Depending on the type of defect/failure (minor or major) we may choose to repair the item at our cost or offer a full replacement or refund.

We also offer a 12-month warranty upgrade for the Bitaxe ($19), NerdQaxe++ ($29) and the NerdOCTaxe ($39) which are covered under these terms.

Before any claim for warranty, we may troubleshoot the issue to ascertain the extent of the claim.  This may involve a telephone conversation, email and/or SMS communication with you to enable the sharing of information such as photographs.  

Limited: Note that warranty is void if the miner has been tampered with in any way including but not limited to upgrades, enhancements or use of parts not supplied by us. 

It may take up to 30 days to process a warranty claim.

⚠️ Overclocking Warning

Overclocking significantly increases power consumption, heat generation, and overall stress on hardware components. Running a miner beyond manufacturer-recommended specifications will void the warranty and can lead to reduced equipment lifespan, permanent damage, or unsafe operating conditions if adequate ventilation and electrical infrastructure are not in place. Excessive heat may also pose a risk to nearby equipment or materials. Overclocking is undertaken entirely at the user’s own risk and is not recommended for inexperienced users.

Stock units are supplied with a power supply intended for operation at factory-specified settings. Exceeding these specifications may require a higher-capacity or upgraded power supply to safely accommodate increased power demands. Using an overclocked miner with an insufficient or undersized power supply can result in system instability, hardware failure, or hazardous operating conditions.
